After the initial sales of iPad 3G the next million dollar question is how it would fare in users hand and what are its features looks a like.

•Appearance: Feelwise iPad and iPad 3G all looks like similar and the only difference between the both models is small black band that exists on the top of the back of the iPad 3G. This plastic shield is for the 3G modem and it remains flush with the rest of the device. The iPad 3G is sold unlocked so that a user can employ micro SIM from another GSM carrier in place of AT&T so one can get EDGE quality data speeds with virtually any GSM provider.

•Merits: It has a 3G modem and it is constructed over and also has built-in GPS. For mapping applications and other location-specific information, the iPad 3G will be more accurate than the Wi-Fi- only iPad that uses Wi-Fi to get location co-ordinates. More with 3G modem it makes the iPad indeed a truly mobile device. With a data connection virtually anywhere makes the iPad 3G instantly more useful and go to connected device. If you don’t already have a MiFi box or gadget and want something more portable than a laptop to take with you, the iPad 3G is nice

•Demerits: One major Flaw with US iPad 3G is that its 3G services comes from AT&T and its speed is not up to the mark as expected if compared with iPhone 3G version. Its speed by any means not going to be slower than a fast home broadband network accessed via 802.11n. As great as having 3G is as an option, don’t mistake AT&T’s 3G speed for what you can get from Verizon, Sprint or even local providers like Clear.

•Battery Life: It was good to look at that WiFi only model lived through more that its 10 hours advertised rate. Whereas iPad 3G is expected to live longer than 9 hours while using and employing the technique. This interprets life to be quite stronger in 3G Models merely using WiFi but that notion is too strong to think off.
