Android Apps to make improvement to reach near Apple Apps store

Submitted by admin on Tuesday, 27 April 2010No Comment

As Google’s Android Market is closing to reach at 50,000 application titles as according to data emerging from AndroLib, it is possible that it may soon surpass Apple Apps store. Four months back entire applications were nearly amounting to 20,000. Despite this much growth Android Apps market needs ample overhauling in order to catch up with Apple’s App Store.

The first development as it could occur that is with respect to Android software for updating existing titles, while developers need a hand marketing their software. Apple took its store to the web earlier this year. Apart from offering consumers another place to search for software — and earn Apple 30 percent of every purchase — the online store provides software developers with search engine optimization advantages. By using proper keywords and Apple’s online web store preview, they can better market their wares.

Even after the installation of applications, software titles on Apple are updated regularly that lacks with Android. However, Android does not offers an “update all” functions like Apple’s iPhone. So Android needs to work on this area. As Google I/O conference is scheduled for May 19, just not only look for Froyo, or Android 2.2, but also for as additions to the Android Market and simpler application updates. In order to have a truly successful mobile platform, the quantity of useful software titles is only half of the equation — Google needs to address the other half by providing users with better experiences.
