Early Web stats defining the iPad for the Weekend
With launch of iPad in the market it has become quite natural to establish a comparison between the iPad and the iPhone. The first impression that iPad has made is of being a beautiful browser that works as a very powerful application when it is connected with WiFi as for the purpose of working. According to Web analytics service Clicky by Sunday the iPad accounted for 4.62 percent of all mobile browsing, versus the iPhone, which dipped nearly two points to 46.5 percent.
However on Monday iPhone’s mobile Web browsing share returned back up to 48.6 percent whereas iPad is down to 2.6 percent. This two-point difference occur because people may be leaving away the iPad at home and once again getting cling back to their iPhone on Monday, that is a first working day of the week. That means iPad is used by people initially as on weekends contrary to iPhone that is employed and is used for an entire week.
Clicky runs Web analytics across 200,000 Websites visited by 100 million people a month, which is where these numbers come from.
