In its recent report as released by .comScore about the smartphone marketshare it is showing slightest bending towards Android on the cost iPhone and Palm and Microsoft shares are also showing trend towards decline. This report also has compared smartphone market as based upon over the three-month period as ending on November 2009 as contrary to months ending on February 2010.

According to this report nearly 45.4 million people in the United States were using smartphones in the period ending in February 2010 that is 21% raise over period ending on last November. RIM still is a market leader having 42.1% control over the smartphone market share and its share rose by 1.3% over this period. But the most awesome is the 5.2% growth of Apple, whereas Apple’s share is as stable as with slightest drop of .1%.

However, despite being this growth level Android would take quite a long time reaching near to Apple’s mobile user base. Apple’s iPhone OS is also used by the iPod Touch and now, the iPad and that is the area where Android has yet to catch up with things.
