Initial iPad feedback: problem with Wifi
The launch of iPad does not appeared to be as merrier it ought to be, merely after one day after the launch of the device, it has faced initial glitches and scores of complaints on the Apple support site over faulty wifi on the iPad. The major problem that it shows up is that it hardly displays any wifi signal or show up a very weak signal.
The wifi signal in iPad is dropping down to one bar if it is compared with other devices like MBP and my iPhone.
The iPad’s WiFi antenna is like the new iMacs – it’s centrally located behind the Apple logo, and it’s tiny. The difference is the iMac’s Apple logo isn’t usually resting on something; the iPad’s usually is. The device’s performance is far better near router but at other portions of the house, its performance is just negligible. Generally case of faulty Wifi issue happens to be generated from hardware/design issue and something else that that cannot be fixed and exemplified by software patch.
And if this occurs to be the case with iPad then faulty Wifi would make this a very unattractive device. As a one commenter seen it as saying, “Not spending $500 on something I can’t even use. It’s going back tomorrow.”
