Apple iPad sold out across America

Finally, it happened after very long wait and being queued up, the first some pieces of the Apple iPad were handed over to the customers through the doors of the Apple store by the shop assistants. The first generation model of the iPad is available with wi-fi yet has to include 3G and is still not available outside United States. The New York Apple store in Manhattan opened its doors to a 500-strong crowd at 0900 EST (1400 BST).

Though the Queues are not as much as longer as they were at the launch of iPhone in 2007 yet according to reports people across the world have traveled to US around the world to purchase a device. Yet people have traveled across the world to purchase the device.

Despite, there being a good number of online pre-orders some early adopters started queuing outside store yet before its release. Apple’s co-founder Steve Wozniak joined a queue outside an Apple store in California on Friday evening. He told that he had pre-ordered the device, that is retailing in the US at $499 -$829. The prices for its European edition are yet to be announced. The most of the hope for iPad comes from the market between iPhone and a laptop. But the major issue with the device is that it is still locked position and even for changing its batteries down, there is needed help from a professional.
