Wolfram Alpha recently announced dropping price of its iPhone app and has returned to its mobile site. It is also planning to launch its iPad app as well as its new Wolfram Alpha for e-book program. Wolfram Alpha would lunch an IPad app that is to be bundled with the iPhone app for $1.99 and has not arrived as a shock.

IPad app was a bit common and popular but e-book program has come up as a sort of surprise, but shed light in respect of making Wolfram Alpha omnipresent. The very first application that would be used as Wolfram Alpha for e-book is the stunning iPad version of Theodore Gray’s best selling The Elements: A Visual Exploration of Every Known Atom in the Universe. The e-book application integrates Wolfram’s computational knowledge engine closely into the e-book experience.

Very soon the calculus, engineering or geography textbooks would also be available in e-book from Wolfram Alpha’s vast data repository. According toWolfram Alpha’s managing director Barak Berkowitz, the teams “number-one priority as of today is to get Wolfram|Alpha in the hands of everyone.” And this new e-books program definitely is a move toward that direction. Wolfram Alpha’s newly affordable iPad app will is made to make good use of the extra screen estate on the device. It will use a two-pane, which appears to be like as a standard interface for many iPad applications. And rest you can employ with this application is after testing itself.
