Until the launch of the iPad, there many doubts and perceptions were clamoring around and no one was certainly clear about what the device would be interpreted and treated by a common user when it would come on to their hands. After the launch of iPad and its reach to common hands the first wrong impression about its being as a next big iPod Touch has been cleared to a greater extent and is credited to be a device totally different from iPhone as well as iPod Touch.

With respect to its size and interface, it entirely involves and let people to work with reading, viewing video, web browsing, playing scrabble and other related activities. Including and involving its entire feature an iPad can be placed between the phone and the laptop. Another exciting feature Apple iPad is its instant speed as there is no waiting time to get up and keep running and it is entirely instant. With its custom-designed A4 chip iPad apps run faster in comparison to what it acts with the iPhone.

On speed embedded with Safari it has a good browsing experience, however, it doesn’t run effectively for web video and animation due to lack of Flash into it. For watching movies it is great for video viewing as in your resting like a natural book. And even with Wi-Fi, it is quite appropriate to run movies smoothly on it.

And as an e-reader there is no comparison to iPad, on its iBook stores it is indeed great to read a book. It has some innovative reading processes like scrolling bar to make it easier to zip through chapters. Apple has added some welcome innovations to the reading process, like a scroll bar that makes it easier to zip through chapters. Pages turn really fast. And the backlit screen makes the pages themselves clearer.

Being as a gaming platform, it is quite aptly suited to the needs and some of the games here are with touch functions and the accelerometers as to bring traditional games into the digital world. On many parts it can be assumed and considered as a larger iPhone. By expanding iPhone-sized applications, it has set a different platform and it’s one such example is iPad Maps Applications.

However at certain areas iPad indeed lacks as in providing its use for gadgets to be touched up with Twitter, or connecting it with IM buddies, It, has no multitasking and its GPS would come only with 3G equipped version. Presently, it is available only through Apple’s App Store with following specifications.

•Capacity: 15.1 GB to 30 GB, 30.1 GB to 60 GB, 60.1 GB to 120 GB
