Majority of mobile phone experts are unanimous on the opinion that Windows Phone 7 has good number of improvement over the previous editions of Windows Mobile and is giving stiff competition to iPhone that is assumed as leader among smart phones. And most of the positive attention for iPhone has been derived from new foursquare app for Windows Phone 7.

Foursquare for Windows Phone 7 looks wondering even better from redesigned version of Foursqaure for the iPhone. The Windows Phone 7 version of Foursquare has two additional features that are not present with its iPhone version that is creating entire excitement for Windows Phone 7. The feature includes directions within the app, and a new “Society” area. Direction provides step by step locations and The new Society area, meanwhile, employs Foursquare’s firehose of data to show the hottest areas in a given city. It does this by showing you a heat map indicating where the most check-ins is taking place. You can then see pins showing the different venues in that area. And below that is a list of the venues and tallies for how many people are checking-in there.
