Design

Naite is an attractive and friendly phone. It measures 4.3 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide by 0.5 inch deep. It is decorated with a silver keypad and a screen bordered with recycled black plastic. Weighing 3 ounces, Naite is light in the hand and is combined with headphone and charger port into the spine instead of the phone’s heel. On the Naite’s right spine there exists a volume rocker and its left spine has large proprietary charge porter that also works as a headset jack. On the back of Naite there exists a 2- megapixel camera lens.

As for its screen, that is 2.2 inches has impressive sharpness and saturation with its 240×320 pixel and 262, 144 color resolution. Its two soft keys provide four directional navigation pads equipped with a central OK button and its navigation is quite quick and responsive. You’ll get the Naite’s power button sharing a key with the End button. You will also get dedicated buttons for keeping phone silent with locked dial pad with popped up shortcuts.

Features

As far as features are concerned, the Naite address book can have as much as 1,000 contacts with possible seven numbers and an e-mail address per contact. Each of the contact can be provided with a picture. The Naite has 18 polyphonic ringtones to select from. In phone organizer of Naite, there you would get a file manager, calendar, to-do list, notes, timer, stopwatch, calculator and a password keeper. There is too support for Bluetooth, 3G support, push e-mail, text and MMS.

As for mapping features, Google Maps for Mobile comes preloaded, and includes directions. Integrated Facebook and YouTube apps works as a social networking bridge. It also has RSS feeds and podcasts are also onboard. It includes POP3 e-mail syncing for accounts like Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo in boxes and IMAP4 e-mail. Its 2 megapixel camera provides for 2.5x digital zoom and hook to panorama, frame and burst mode as well as standard shot. Its other features include solid stereo FM Radio, audio recorder, photo and video editors and a music composer to create ring tones from song collection. It also has an expandable microSD card that stores up to 16MB.

Performance

On the T-Mobile SIM card, it provides good quality voice that sounds very loud and clear. However, on speaker phone it sounded to be very hazy and disturbing. Voices generated to be very mumbly and indecipherable even in quiet environment with speaker phone.
