When the new Windows Phone Series 7 device was launched, it was surrounded with million dollar question whether it would be capable enough to let run more than one application being as an operating system. And Microsoft answered this question in its style when it showcased a good number of Windows Phone 7 Series applications on Monday.

This exhibition of Windows 7 series multitasking showed up its multitasking ability and features like playing music and running an application or check calendar simultaneously talking on the phone. The core objective of this multitasking is to make it sure that programs are saved appropriately in the background when someone else has showcased an application in the foreground.

On Monday, Microsoft also announced that Windows Phone 7 series would have a push notification system allowing programs to be updated and having alert while they are even not running. However, there is deficiency to the plan as one can play music using the built-in Zune player while doing another task, but this capacity of music playing cannot be extended to third-party music application employing own player technology. The next interesting question that Microsoft yet has to answer is that whether developers can write native code for the phone, instead of selecting managed code like XNA or Silverlight.
