Google, as failed to reach out any consensus with representatives with Chinese government is set to shut down its search engine operations in China. The officials at Google have already prepared draft and plan to close down Chinese search business, however, at the same time is optimistic to reach out any agreement.

As it is quite evident that Google that in background of Chinese hacking of prominent US web properties in January is in no mood to operate in China as censored search engine, yet it can remain in China after shutting down Google.cn in its Chinese sales, software development, and research operations. And recently, China’s minister for industry and information technology Li Yizhong said, “”If [Google] takes steps that violate Chinese laws, that would be unfriendly, that would be irresponsible, they would have to bear the consequences,” This all is certainly heading towards bad time for Google in China.
