The Asus K60I-RBBBR05 is one of the laptops that cost around $500 tag. It is one of the cheapest laptop with dual core processor. And it has Intel Pentium T4400 as a preferred CPU.

Asus K60I has a very unique looks with a subtle houndstooth pattern on the lid and keyboard deck, Chiclet-type keys popularized by the Apple MacBook, and a multitouch touch pad. It also provideds with the double the hard drive capacity of the Dell, Wireless-N Wi-Fi to the Dell’s 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, and is good at battery life.

It is decorated with a deep brown and black color scheme for the K60I. The glossy lid features a subtle houndstooth pattern that is repeated at the textured plastic keyboard deck. It is 16 inches diagonally and has 1,366×768-pixel resolution as like other 15.6 inch screens. At screen LED backlighting, that is better for energy saving produces better light and imagery. It display is glossy and the antiglare coating at it helps in reducing distracting glare and reflections. Further it has 0.3 megapixel camera above the display.

Its spacious keyboard is its best feature, and Chiclet- style keys are wide spaced and provide real comfort while typing. Its touch pad on smaller side supports multitouch gestures, such as two-finger scrolling. The two mouse buttons have a chrome finish and are very stiff. The Asus K60I features a pair of Altec Lansing speakers that produces average sound. There are two USB 2.0 ports on either side of the laptop, but no eSATA. There is a media card reader, but no ExpressCard slot. A VGA port is only video-out option. It uses a standard six-cell battery. It is backed with a standard one year parts and labor warranty.
