Tableau is another great service that is used for creating chart and leads entire chart exercise to a higher level.

This service is available on Windows and its download is available for free. After download a 17MB download Tableau gets installed very quickly. It is very easy to use and charts on it can be created very easily. And on it data can be used from simple text file to an Excel spreadsheet to database. It is all the major DBMS supported. Once the data source is connected on them it can be created through drag and drop operations.

This chart creating tool creates great level of control as one can easily edit the Axis labels, the scale, colors that are used in the charts. One can have entire knowledge and learning about its mechanism from its Tableau Public site. For learning purpose, there sample data sets are also provided where you can try your hand. There are also walkthrough videos where you can get videos to as to help you get familiar with the software and introduce with some of its intricacies.

But there is a bit restriction for saving charts, as on the application charts cannot be saved locally and are stored online within a public gallery. This is not an issue if you decide to share your chart as it is actively used by bloggers, researchers, journalists and students in a similar fashion.
The visualizations/charts developed on Tableau Public can be stored online that is answer to its inability to save data locally. Tableau Public can be viewed online. As well there is a very nice gallery in it where you can view work preserved by others.
