Foursquare added intuitive features into its location History
As the SXSW festival is on the cards to be happened and organized at Austin Texas, it is quite wise on the part of every location based service to planning big things as to participate into this event. Everyone is trying up their best to upgrades into their applications as to participate in it and other activities.
Adjoining to the fervor, Foursquare is modifying the “history” area of their websites. And is appears as a part of entire exercise of revamping the website and tie up the data with Foursquare iPhone app set to be started this week. The latest update to history area shows not only where a person gets checked-in, and the category of the venue but also who has checked in with.
However, Foursquare has just added a new layer to your location history data. And this layer is very interesting as it even shows up who you were with at a certain venue when you were there. It shows only friends not entire foursquare users. Hence, this data shows clear picture around a locations history and enriches one’s social graph. This is a huge part of location as bridge the bridge between social networking as actual social activity. Four square has highlighted similar data for a while on the stats page, showing you who you check-in with most often.
