Samsung Bada displayed at Mobile World Congress 2010

The Mobile World Congress 2010 started with bang at lavish press conference in Barcelona with the display of Samsung Wave. After the welcome ceremony whiz with dancers and aerial ballet the proceedings started with the Samsung’s Bada phone. Bada in Korean language means ocean as to display limitless variety on the platform. Bada as according to Samsung is phone variable with operating system to bring out the smart phone experience to everyone.

Bada since its launch is like making a sort of evolution of the middleware that has been on Samsung’s phones all along is considered for brining on the smart phone experience and exposure to everyone. In features, it includes integrated contacts, unified inbox, push calendar and stance on social networking. More, Samsung has offered its own app store and touts a simple and open platform that developers of which a developer can take advantage of.

As for the business scope for Samsung Bada, it has been said that as a mobile operation system it would hardly make any impact over US market as it is already too much committed towards Android and Widows Mobile. It is all about brining the smart phone experience in regions and areas that are not known for smart phone being subsidized by carriers at a lower premium. Bada carries away smart phone experience to the next level.
