Opera is about to launch an Opera Mini for iPhone in a press and partner review in due course of 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. Opera, the company of Norwegian ownership disclosed it in its press release today. Along with Opera Mini company will also introduce range of Opera powered devices at its exhibit at MWC.

Opera yet has to submit the iPhone app for approval in the App Store. Opera does not see any issue in approval of the application. Opera hopes once the browser is approved people would be tempt to leave the iPhone Safari browser due to better speed provided by Opera application. Opera says that Opera Mini for iPhone 6 times faster than the native browser due to inclusion of compression technology in it. More it would be more viable for users cost wise as it can reduce cost up to 90%.
