Meme culture overtaking viral on Facebook

Among the most poplar buzz words on Facebook the latest meme is, “Can this [Insert random thing] Get More Fans Than [Insert Famous Person]?” And who have been poked fun this time no one else other than pop singer Justin Bieber who is much talked among the present hyped and net savvy generations.

And what slogged the Canadian pop star on February 6 meme is a fried food Onion Ring created by Facebook user Toby Brittan. This all resulted in following statistics:

Bieber Fan Count: 1,648,758 fans
Onion Ring Fan Count: 2,152,536 fans

Brittan funded the page on February 1, as he is a 16 year old son of British business woman Sharon Brittan. He even approached to some advertisers to make some business out of his mime activity. These types of pages constantly keep drowning and swimming on Facebook and soon Onion ring page even defeated Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Amid various trends, it has been extensively observed meme mostly targets pop culture figures like Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers, etc.
