NASA shuttle Endeavour launch delayed due to cloudy weather
The Sunday launch of NASA space shuttle Endeavour had to be rescheduled at the launch site in Florida due to unexpected clouds that gathered over the sky. The count down was running successfully without any technical problems till the suspension of the launch. However, earlier forecasts had predicted 80 percent chance of favorable weather, but disturbance was created due to clouds coming too low to allow astronauts to have a clear view of the runway at the Kennedy Space Centre as they had to abort the scheduled launch.
Endeavour and its crew is aiming to deliver and install the last major US-funded module to the International Space Station, that will provide house life-support and sanitation equipment, as well as fitness gear for the astronauts. After installation, the module would include seven pane window or cupola. This cupola would let station crew members to help guide the progress of space talks as needed for the station’s robotic arm. It would also provide stunning views of the Earth with the help of fitness gear house in the module.
