Finally, Shuttle Endeavour shoots off into the space
Finally, the postponed Endeavour shuttle flight took place from the Kennedy Space Center of Monday night and the Endeavor orbiter went into the sky for 13 day mission to be operated at International Space Station (ISS). After reaching the space station, it would deliver a connecting node and a large window module that is one of the last ISS assembly flights.
The blast-off happened at 0414 local time (0914 GMT), 24 hours beh ind schedule. However, Monday weather was far better and radical and shuttle shoot off the orbit in quite a decent manner. Endevaour space project is also equally important for European Space Agency (ESA) for its contribution to the station project. Both the new mod ules for the Endevaour project are constructed by Italy’s Thales Ale nia Space.
The Endevaour shuttle would also place a treadmill in the Space sta tion so its crew may use it for a regular exercise their bodies and keep
bone density to be fitted in microgravity conditions of the space. More it would create, Cupola that is an observation tower which would be used for controlling robots working on the exterior of the platform. The Cupola is formed in the shape of a dome with six trap ezoidal side windows and a circular top window making it to be the largest window ever created into the space. Cupola is projected to
be constructed in such a manner that it would be place for relaxation in space for crew members and they would have the best Earth view from there downwards.
