Nokia making headaway into Netbook market
As with entry of iPhone and BlackBerry models from RI M it some how forced Nokia to utilize its wireless capabilities into personal computers as Nokia is arriving with its Booklet 3G. With the announcement made by Nokia for launching its own Nokia 3G Netbook, it is quite clear and apparent that its stock rose by 6 percent on a single day basis.
As Nokia has cleared pathway for other mobile phone manufactures to start a netbook it has made it to be pathway for Nokia’s roadmap for the future activities. Nokia’s market share is swinging between some how at the ratio of 35 to 40 percent and the overall smart phone market is yet static around 40 percent. As most of the netbooks start with price range of $350 it is the Nokia net book that would cost around roughly $800 due to Nokia Booklet 3G be being more and close to be a mini laptop than a netbook added with its, Atom 1.6GHz processor, 12-hour battery life, 10.1-inch HD display and Windows 7 operating system.
By keeping its affiliation with Windows operating system, it still has ensured that mini- notebook would be more radical for consumers who are not accustomed to Linux netbooks. It would really be very eventful to watch out how Nokia would handle things in netbook market in coming times.
