Google on spree to search out the Fastest DNS Server
With objective to speed up the services of DNS Server, the Google launched its own DNS service. As it is a rampant problem with Internet users, they hardly know about what a DNS server is and how it is configured about and to test how fast it is. However, to sort out this problem, a Google professional has created an easy tool to testing DNS that can save time upto 20%.
Thomas Stromberg who is a Google engineer and residing in Belgium, developed Namebench a piece of software that tells you about the fastest DNS server as available for use and implication. This program is available for OS X, Windows, and Linux and the entire application has been open sourced by Stromberg. No worry, however, for number of tests it would arrive back with results showing the first, second and third best DNS option right up top. The information is thus also provided in charts and graphs.
