Google lost one more case over Domain Name complaint
The complaint of this nature made by Google once again has been rejected by the law authorities. According to incoming news, a Canadian company who was using a domain named Groovle.com won a litigation filed against him by Google. Google blamed a small business company 207 media for using a Google like name for its search, utility. However, the mediators at the National Arbitration Form disagreed by the charges as put forth by Google. The three judges appointed by the forum refused Google’s request. They said name is not similar enough to confuse people and has more likely ness with groovle that has close links to groovy or groove instead of Google.
The three judge bench also refused claims made by Google that Canadian firm hardly has any interest in the domain name instead it has registered domain name only in a bad faith. The 207 media said that they have used domain name without any interruptions and claims as made by Google. The National Arbitration Forum is an agency, approved by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, to sort out domain name disputes.
