As it is not expected to happen so soon and early in the final month of 2009 the Goggle Chrome browser was headed ahead of Apple’s safari with respect of total number of browsers. Now Google Chrome is at third place leaving behind Internet Explorer as well as Firefox.

According to the stats for the web browsers it was the Google Chrome which was 4.63% while as Apple’s Safari was at 4.46% of total market capitalization for web browser markets. The Net Applications stats aren’t all bad for Apple: the iPhone saw its biggest jump in the mobile operating system market in December, climbing 20% over its November numbers to 0.43% of the market. On the desktop, Apple’s growth is slow, however: OS X usage grew to 5.11% of the OS market at the end of 2009 from 4.71% at the start.
