The Sidebar application that recently come out and discussed in the news for having features as to aid smartphone owners to select out the application best suited for their phones. And interestingly, the first application which has been searched by this tool is for Google-powered Android phones. This application is precisely developed for newly released Verizon Droid.

For this application, Sidebar would ask you a good number of questions as to judge out your taste and interest and content preferences, these questions can be about gender, age, location and about the games and outdoor activities which are played by you. Once sidebar, gets succeed in figuring out your nature, it offers videos, games, music, application, ringtones, podcasts and promotions according to your choice and opinion.  This application does not recommend 12 content lists per day and lasts only for 24 hours and its next batch of application arrives after duration of 24 hours. Though Android still has to make mark in the smart phone market, yet selected applications have started turning towards Android. The sidebar after this much intuitive features seems being very necessary for Android user.

And interestingly, in competition between Android and Apple applications it is Apple app store that has upper edge over the former one.  Apple has a good variety of applications whereas Android applications are mostly top paid or free applications without much recommendation.
