Google confirmed launch of Chrome operating system next year

Open source code for the Google operating system Chrome has been released by the company for third parties to contribute to its development. This proposed OS is based upon Google Chrome web browser that is gaining more success due to its being fast. And Google chrome operating system would be provided for free as opposite to paid operating systems like Microsoft’s Windows and Apple’s Snow Leopard operating systems.

As Google Chrome OS is about to be available in the last quarter of 2010 it aims to cash out the Chrome’s success for a faster and stable live experience. With this operating system it would be quite easier for systems to startup and reboot within seconds as it would run all its applications from the wed without any need to download programmed and updates and there it would be very difficult for viruses to affect its operation being provided with higher security provisions. The Sundar Pichai, vice president in product management in Google tols, “With Google Chrome OS, we’ve made computing faster, easier and safer than ever before. While we still have a long way to go, we are excited by the progress we have made so far and look forward to developing the technology in the open with the help of the open source community.”
