Google Wave which was started two months back in its beta version with starting batch of 100,000 invitations is facing a number of usability related problems. However, the problems faced by Google wave is expected to bring over more improvement on the proper launch of Wave after rectifying existing problems with it.

Despite being certain irregularities found in Google Wave, it is yet to be determined for the exact use it would offer to its user in coming future. It is estimated to be used as multi user note taking platform for meetings and sessions in the companies and educational institutions. It is opinionated for the best use, collaboratively for organizing an event and based on hopes pinned for replacing wikis. No doubt, with passing passage of time it would be used entirely in different ways and manners for the best results. It is indeed a very nice tool for communication in real time and can overcome its deficiencies by working over its weaker points in coming times.

There are many weaker points in Google Wave that are needed to be improved over and work upon and above all complexities of the Google Wave.  According to an expert, this google service has been over hyped and is worst example of combining an e-mail and Internet Messenger (IM) together. And the next problem continued with Google wave is frequency of updation. The pace with which a public wave gets updated makes it very difficult for a common user to understand the complex nature of the Google Wave. Despite content provided by Google Wave is of any utility, it needs to be filtered out and used among group of users. With this much of ill, the common complexities arose with Google wave is as following.

• Lacking in Revisions: It lacks in revision by the mean a given message cannot approved in wave if you want to undo it and you have to do it, manually.
• No provision to hide replies: Google wave is not a provider for regular solutions for hiding replies. Therefore, the original content of the text gets disturbed by images, boxes, colors and texts from all participants and does not provides freedom to read out the actual and real content in under wave.
• It has limited features for invitations: Presently, Google wave has limited number of invitations and even those are used by limited numbers of people who have account as without inviting a good number of people the value of wave decreases, tremendously.
• Lack of monitoring procedures: There is no system in wave to monitor and follow that is its biggest drawback to the date. There is hardly any notification system like Gtalk alert or other in communication system.
• Lacking speed for actual chat: Despite being having chat features, it is bit slower to chat as its live transmission varies from good to very poor and returns back without any particular pattern. However, after local implementation of Google wave, it is expected the use of Skype or Jabber clients would reduce within companies.
• NPortability: The google wave has not any portability feature like as in Foswiki, Mindtouch, DokuWiki and Media Wiki.   .
• There should not be condition of Google Account: As there condition of google account is putforth for the wave it would become improbable to have proper proliferation of Google wave accounts.
• There is no notion to show who next is online: It is lacking in to show that next is online as displaying green dot on the profile that is not visible for most of the times.
• Don’t share personal information: As soon as someone is invited to google wave and you are connected and sharing secrets with anyone, you anyway cannot get out of it and your discussion would be shared by all presented over there.
• Waves lack readable URLs: It lacks in readability URLs means there is some problem with in its coding part.
