Salesforce Chatter, an upgraded social networking tool

As for sales force, it had been the very exciting year in terms of earning and its annual cloud computing event in SanFrancisco, it launched a new version of their fastest growing product, Services Cloud 2 also opens up with contact manager for all its small businesses.

The CEO of the company Benioff praised the virtues of the real-time cloud and said in recently concluded event that this new product is just not important to Salesforce offering but also to the future of company’s products. He at the conference also praised Twitter for creating transition between the cloud and seamless real web. Its new product Salesforce Chatter let any company to collaborate in real time to have a secure, private social network for any business.

The Salesforce Chatter would allow its users to post profiles on Facebook, including contact information, area of expertise, work history and a photo.  This network is also equipped with real time data update from content and applications. It would also enable users with facility to create groups within the social network. Further users would be allowed to post documents, spreadsheets and presentations in Salesforce Chatter’s feed.  And it would be whole sole discretion of the company to let companies to have access to a certain level of information on network.

Salesforce Chatter is available on the BlackBerry, Windows Mobile devices or iPhone and be available from calendar year 2010 and would be in all paid editions of Salesforce CRM and Force.com.
