Adobe to Acquire Omniture in Q4 of its fiscal year
In a recent development graphic software leader Adobe Systems announced that it has reached in an agreement to buy Omniture on a transaction calculated to be around approximately for $1.8 billion on a fully diluted equity-value basis. As under the agreement for the deal Adobe would commence a tender offer to acquire all of stock of Omniture for $21.50 per share in cash. This transaction would lie into the Q4 of Adobe’s fiscal year.
After the acquisition is over Omniture would become new business unit within Adobe. The CEO of Omniture Josh James would join Adobe Systems as the unit’s Senior VP, reporting directly to Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen. Omniture founded in 1996 presently has around 1, 200 employees around the globe it is the largest provider to the date of Web analytics serving 5,000 customers with portfolio of 12 products.
