wifi

Read Manuals: This is very common that you should read out the respective manuals and instructions provided there in the manual to setup devices. After reading the manual it is very obvious that you can avoid a good number of mistakes.

Change Default Passwords: When connecting the wifi system with wireless router it is provided with a default password for administrative purposes and is very important for a number of purposes and stages conferring WIFI. Therefore this password is needed to exchange with powerful passwords. And the same rule is applied for other settings of various critical devices with wifi passwords.

Remember Buttons Connecting WiFi Transmission: To turn on or off a laptop or mobile device for wireless connections it is necessary to use buttons provided in proper manner and systematically. In many cases a person forgets to use those buttons thus process remains unfinished and complicated.

Choose devices after considering wireless standards: As there are many a number of standards for WiFi technologies including 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n. 802.11n and more and one should choose out the router well after understanding there wireless platform well in advance.

Employ latest encryption standards: As the wireless devices support types of WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) encryption hence the older version of encryption standard WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) should not be uses as it is easily crack able. So setting it up with WPA application is better choice instead of using WEP.

Configure firewall properly: Many a times a firewall not properly connected hinders connection, therefore, to get solution to this problem one should first turnoff the firewall and should try it again. This way disturbed wireless connection can be restored.

Spelling: Other important step to restore proper wireless connection is entering correct spellings of manually entered IDs, passwords, MAC addresses, etc.

Use at least one security: As your data flow through air and it becomes easy for anyone to easily target it and hack into your system so there should be at least a level of security. One should use passwords and firewall and turn off Windows’ default firewall.

Come out of False impression of security: Despite being turning off DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), setting up MAC (Media Access Control) filtering, turning off remote router administration, turning on the router firewall, set up a firewall on your computer, and hidden your SSID (Service Set Identifier) you should not go awry and careless as there are hackers who are always in search for your data.
