Bing has more click percentage on ads in comparison to Google

In a recent research on ad network Chikita, it has been found that click through rate from   Bing users is more than over 50% on click on an ad on a site in comparison to Google users. This interprets that a user who reaches to a third party website through Bing is more likely to click on ads in comparison to visitors who come through Google.

Following is the click rate for the ads.

  • Google: .97 percent
  • Yahoo: 1.24 percent
  • Bing: 1.5 percent

Since the launch of Bing at the end of May, it has gained an incremental rise in terms of market share. However, it would take reasonable time to reach at the significant market share since its launch. Though, the recently signed deal between Yahoo and Microsoft, which has accumulated total share for Bing to 28%, may capture better market share as well as results on Click rate. According to a new deal signed between Yahoo and Microsoft, it is documented that Yahoo would get 88% of total revenue, yet the search engine share that has increased for Microsoft, may not affect that much against the expected deal signed by two leading search engine technologies to drop down Google.
