As nearly 2.5 million followers, somehow, managing to tweet to @BarackObama and @Whitehouse and are part of the social media wing of BarackObama administration, however, have been barred from tweeting in a latest development, where twitter has been blocked in Whitehouse, according to a statement made by Press Secretary Robert Gibbs as he told to CSPAN.

He made straight statement as in words, “for some reason Twitter is blocked on White House computers … I’m on camera enough that people have a decent sense of what I’m doing minus Twittering.”  Though, it may be for security reasons as White House is known for being sensitive to the security but on contrary Obama is not allowed to keep his BlackBerry.
