In the longest solar eclipse of the century, moon passed across in front of the Sun and caused solar eclipse that covered nearly half of the Earth, covering Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China.  The longest eclipse of the century lasted as long as for 6 minutes and 39 seconds in certain areas.
