Latest Technology Fan an Alternative to Conventional Energy

Submitted by admin on Wednesday, 22 July 2009No Comment

When conventional sources of energy like petroleum and coal are getting wiped out, it is unconventional means like solar and wind energy which provides very apt alternative to depleting energy resources. Among the unconventional means of energy resources, it is   a vertical axis wind turbine that can utilize a good number of energy sources without creating much environmenla hazard over wildlife and people.

However, a newly, created wind turbine, developed at West Virginia University will commercially be produced by Fisher Energy, a Michigan based company with interests in automobile sector. These wind turbines are consisted of large blades revolving around a horizontal axis while the blades move ahead in a vertical plane.  In these turbines, the new method is accumulated for transferring flow of air over the blades of the turbine. Under this performance of wind is regulated in varying wind speeds and directions, without making creating much adverse environmental impact.

These new turbines are very easy to accommodate according to wind direction, horizontal axis wind turbine and adjustment with entire assembly with change in the direction of wind. Hopefully, these turbines would be great to the cause of environment protection and be renewable sources of energy.
