Plam preparing ground to boost its App Catalog

In response to the recorded 1.5 billion download of Apple’s applications among the half dozen rival smart phone competitors, one is Palm Pre that despite being new with a dozen apps and a few hundred thousand devices claimed 1.8 million downloads of application from its App Catalog.  With this positive indication Palm is ready to extend its App Catalog, offering Mojo Software Development Kit for anyone willing to develop application for device. Earlier it was available to a few developers.

As the development on platform has opened from today the flow of application going to be slower as company says, “new applications are in the pipeline for the Palm App Catalog,” can be understood as thousands of developers can work on their application but they would be available for use at least after a few months.  One of the prominent criticism faced by Palm Pre is lack of application, however, on the other side for iPhone’s 65000+ applications there only 81 percent have more than 10,000 users.
