Among all the desktop clients for Twitter, the two most innovative and well demanded are TweetDeck and Seesmic Desktop. In a recent update, TweetDeck modified its desktop app for multiple accounts and unlimited columns, and also released a very alarming iPhone app for more security to your Tweets.

And Seesmic is even not far behind in its updates, as it is working on an iPhone app and will introduce a new Twitter product – Seesmic for the web. This new application will going to be web based Twitter app initially supporting a single account and is a multiple account service. But there are many interesting features into it, like saved searches, single column functionality that works like an e-mail program, unlimited columns, message tab for conversation, quick roll over of Twitter user stats. That single column can further present condensed view of multiple columns.

As for the Seesmic web application according to CEO Loic Le Meur, there are expected more advancement and changes to support groups (userlists) and sync between the web and desktop app in the recent future. In a welcome change for Seesmic desktop now user can have different view options.
