This time Google to launch its share of Operating System
After the release of their new search engine Bing by Microsoft, it was on the cards that Google would come up with bang and it did indeed created ample curiosity around by announcing on its blog for a release of a new operating system Google Chrome OS
As Google has already, OS Android for mobiles this new one is expected to be weaved for Web with based off of Chrome, Google’s web browser. Reported from Google OS Chrome would be available in the market by the second half of next year and is targeted at netbooks, initially. Below is the extract from the Google blog for the release of Chrome, “Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Because we’re already talking to partners about the project, and we’ll soon be working with the open source community, we wanted to share our vision now so everyone understands what we are trying to achieve.”
Being it very obvious, that Google has not revealed any other details, best that can be done is wait and watch till final release.
