As the launch of Bing, the Microsoft’s new search engine is merely a month old; it has given Google run for its money. There was not an exact conformation for the success of Bing, however; recently released stats have credited Bing as 13th most visited website on the web.   According to data confirmed by Compete.com Bing was able to touch the mark of 49.57 million unique visitors mark in first month. It c surpassed traffic of Digg (Digg) (38.96 million) Twitter (Twitter) (23 million), and CNN (28.54 million). This data is only for US visitors, there is not any mention of international visitors. Interestingly, among 12 other websites which defeated Bing one is its predecessor Live.com that had traffic of 79.4 million visits in June. This may be because that many of the important Microsoft services, including hotmail are being present on Live domain. At any case it is long journey for Bing to catch top position of Google.
