Three free uninstaller for Mac applications

Though complete in it being with features for installing and uninstalling application there are certain files and preferences which are left behind on the computer despite Mac still needs some uninstaller apps to clean an application away from the system. Here three free alternatives for Mac uninstaller files are provided.

AppCleaner: This uninstaller lets complete cleanup of unwanted applications from the hardisk enabled with Mac operating system. For using it, you just need to add an application to AppCleaner window.  Further on it would find the related files, list them down and delete all the concerned files. App cleaner also has one SmartDelete option that can also delete an application completely even from the trash.

AppTrap: Another uninstaller tool for Mac applications pops up only after a user’s deletion of file, asking for complete clean-up of the system.  This uninstaller retains at System Preference as a preference pane. Generally inactive, its gets activated only after users interference with it for getting started after installing it.

DesInstaller: This is a soothing application to read out the receipts as produced while installing a “.pkg” file with Apple’s Installer. A user of DeInstaller can remove each and every file installed by a package.

However as a note of caution despite of any installer you can double check the list of associated files to be deleted and even look inside the Trash before cleaning it up.
