Facebook App for Twitter seems exploited

Submitted by admin on Thursday, 2 July 2009No Comment

As an association with Facebook, Twitter had an official Facebook application for Facebook status updated with tweets highly useful for persons who don’t wish to update a number of social media services with a single message at a time. This application has more than 250, 000 monthly active users. But for a week, this application is facing a very strange bug, every time you would try to install this application you would come across with a message:

There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of session test are trying to iron out. We appreciate your patience as we try to fix these issues. Your problem has been logged - if it persists, please come back in a few days. Thanks!

Despite being into this issue of being “logged” no one is caring about to remove this bug. As far as about Session Test, this is another Facebook application formed by “Bob McTest” – a Facebook profile showing two friends and a crazy picture. Session Test has 45,373 monthly active users and 182 fans and again installing Session Test, you would come across same Session Test error message. It is strange to notice while installing Twitter app you comes across with some other application. When Facebook was informed about these complaint authorities there told that they would look into the matter. It there seems like that application has been infected or is exploited.
