The Sony Ericsson company introduced a Sony Ericsson W 705 which is the latest walkman series.  This handset is a slider model and it was much devoted towards the music edition. Though it might be difficult to differentiate it with other Sony Ericsson models, it has very understated difference with an attractive overall effect. It has a combination of a brushed metal silver finish and a soft-touch plastic covering the back of the phone and keypad.

Sony Ericsson W 705 has some features that make it very classy-looking and appealing to its users. The features include a 4GB memory stick Micro card which is capable of holding between 1,500 and 3000 songs, depending on compression and other huge data, its music menu is attractive and easy to navigate. It has a walkman button next to the top of the handset that makes it easier to access the music. It has a clear audio and a sense me that allow a person to easily choose music according to his moods i.e. happy, sad etc. It is also installed with a HSDPA data speeds that is used to download music, ringtones or games and also HUSPA for faster uploads. Its connectivity is enhanced with a Wi-Fi and DLNA that allows the user to surf through the net. It also has a YouTube video player that allows quick navigation through the many search results. It has a standard battery that allows it to have a 4 hour talk-time on a 3G network. The Sony Ericsson W 705 also comes with a 2.4 QVGA display capable of showing up to 256k colors. The phone is also equipped with an Fm radio with RDS. It uses a quad band GSM and dual band 3g support.
