Whether protesters in Iran may not have support from local media, but there is a huge array of support from the social media community which is trying their best to the cause of democracy lovers in Iran. After the advisement of the US government to twitter to postpone its downtime to ensure flow of news from Iran there have seen an enormous lift in the use of YouTube and Twitter in publishing protest in Iran. To further facilitate Iranians, Facebook has come up with Persian translation of the Facebook to provide Iranian with platform to register protest in the native language.

Even Google is not far behind in this cause of American Democracy as it launched Farsi support for its Google Translate product.  According to Google as this launch is quick and is on time to support Iranian protest, initially, is provided with English–Persian translation is to set with changes for 40 and more languages with Google Translate support. Google launched the service stating,

“Today, we added Persian (Farsi) to Google Translate. This means you can now translate any text from Persian into English and from English into Persian — whether it’s a news story, a website, a blog, an email, a tweet or a Facebook message. The service is available free at http://translate.google.com.”

As social media sites have come up big way for the cause in Iran hopefully, this would store order in Iran.
