Seven Wonderful Marvels of Mindfulness
Our alert and awakened conscious that recognizes the motions inside and around us is known as Mindfulness. It is the constant understanding of our bodies, sentiments and thoughts. Through mindfulness, we can work wonders devoid of harming ourselves and others. If we live mindfully in everyday walks of life and are full of love and caring, then we create a miracle and transform the world into a wonderful place.
The aim of your mindfulness is undefined. You may look towards the sky and breathe in and say, “Breathing in, I’m aware of the blue sky.” This shows you mindfulness of the blue sky. The blue sky here develops into the object of your mindfulness. Smiling is another beautiful mind-soothing practice. Primarily you identify the blue sky as existing. And if you carry on the practice, you will find that the blue sky is breathtaking. It would prove that you’ve lived all these years of your life under the sky but you have never seen and touched the blue sky that deeply.
In the Sutra on the Four Establishments of Mindfulness, the Buddha presents four layers of mindfulness practice: mindfulness of the body, of the mind, of the emotions, and of the objects of mind. Practicing mindfulness at each layer can be the groundwork of well-being and happiness. In case we don’t follow mindfulness, we bear tensions in not only our mind but also our body and in our relationships. In practicing mindfulness, we become a peaceful shelter for ourselves and others. Once the seed of mindfulness in us is watered, it can grow into compassion, enlightenment, thoughtful and transformation. As we practice mindfulness our roots grow stronger.
As soon as we are mindful, we can put into practice Right Thinking and Right Speech. Intelligibility flows from mindfulness. With the positive energy of mindfulness, we can return to our true home, the present moment.
The Seven wonders of Mindfulness:
We surely can experience life’s miracles as we bring mindfulness into every facet of our life-
The primary marvel is to be present and able to touch deeply the miracles of life, like the blue sky, a flower, the smile of a child.
The next marvel is to make the other—the sky, a flower, a child—present also. Then we have the chance to see each other deeply.
The third marvel is to nourish the object of your attention with full consciousness and correct concentration.
The fourth marvel is to alleviate the distress of others.
The fifth marvel is looking intensely into the personality of self and others.
The sixth marvel is of understanding. If we are mindful of the present moment, we can see deeply and things become clear. With thoughtful, the desire to relieve suffering and give love will awaken within us.
The Seventh marvel is transformation. By practicing Right Mindfulness, we contact the therapeutic and revitalizing aspects of life and initiate to transform the suffering in ourselves and in the world.
Our true dwelling is the present moment. If we truly live in the moment, our fears and suffering will vanish and we will realize life with all its miracles.
Real life can only be started and felt here and now. This is since the moment at hand is the only moment we can truly experience and control. The past is ended and the future has not yet here. In view of the fact that the present moment is the only actual moment for us, we can always return here to get in touch with the marvels of. life.
Breathing and Moving Mindfully
To gain success in the art of meditation we need to gain knowledge of the art of breathing. The practice of mindfulness includes all spheres and actions, as well as regular actions and our every breath.
We habitually believe breathing is just a natural skill; every person knows how to inhale and exhale. But breathing is a miracle. Being attentive of our breath not only helps us manage the difficulty in everyday life, it also helps develop our insight and kindness. We can sit and breathe, but it is just as significant to practice mindful breathing while we are moving.
The Mindful Movements and walking meditation are customs to practice moving without a purpose or intention. Mindful walking simply means walking while being conscious of each step and of our breath. It can be followed in anyplace, even when you are by yourself in nature or with others in a swarming city. You can even observe mindful breathing and walking meditation amid business appointments or in the parking lot of the supermarket. Walking on this planet is an absolute pleasure. Mindful walking permits us to be sensitive of such pleasure of walking. We can keep our steps leisurely, calm, and peaceful. There is no hurry to reach any place. Mindful walking can liberate our grieves and our reservations and help bring harmony into our body and mind.
