Introduction
DAZ Studio™ is a 3D art freeware, and this software includes a Victoria 3.0 reduced resolution. All you need as you learn how to create 3D art is n this freeware, together with clothes, props and environments. It has an importer of Poser files, and supports all Poser 4 features. This 3D art also includes support that will allow you to download free Poser content and import the content into DAZ. The freeware also helps you create you library by providing you with a free weekly download.

Like the previous DAZ Studio™ versions, DAZ Studio™ version 2.2 is as exceptional as ever.

It has PowerPose, Puppeteer and Activity tabs that allow you to load, pose, animate and finish your figures for that flashier 3D art look. It has features Lip-Sync, which allows you to load a sound file with the timeline and connect it to your figure to add animated facial expressions and gestures. It allows you to load Mimic audio and DMC files into your DAZ that synthesizes speech with the figure. You can also directly record using the Lip-Sync, add it as a plug-in and voila, you now have a “speaking” character complete with smiles and frowns!

Moreover, new parameters like the Figure Favorites and Local Favorites tabs were added to DAZ 2.2. These are sliders that allow you to customize your favorite head, shoulders, mouth and more. However, one issue about these tabs is that you always need to select a head to use the MouthHeight morph slider.

It has a Smooth Angle tool, found at the Surface Tab; you can use this tool to smoothen any surface in your figure at the angle of your choice. Its Content Manager keeps track of your databases and allows you scan or browse through the database in a fast manner. DAZ also has a Power Loader that allows you to modify the content and morphs of your figure. It is also equipped with Sandio 3D mouse and 3D Connexion support that provides you with the ability to control your figure’s movements in 3D space. Also latest specs are the Hexagon Bridge into DAZ and Sub D (Sub Division Surfaces), which are high-end 3D features.
