Recession has its impact everywhere and it is also making a bad impression over employment scenario too especially on the fresh graduates of 2009, who are left with a very few job options in comparison to graduates who passed out in 2008 and 2007.

With a very ugly scene at job cuts in United States fueled with further slump, layoffs, furloughs and pay cuts, it is the toughest job markets in years for college seniors in the country.  According to a survey from National Association of Colleges and Employers in a 2009 Student Survey only 19.7 percent 2009 graduates secured job who applied for the job. In 2008 ratio was 26 percent and in 2007 it was 51 percent.  The backlog of graduates from previous years who could not secure full time job is further compounding problem.
