Searches now on Spreadsheet on Google Squared

Submitted by admin on Thursday, 4 June 2009No Comment

On its reign of online search technology Google has moved a step forward by launching Google Squared to provide information into neat labeled boxes. Google Squared an experimental search engine by the Search Engine giant provides search engine results broken into categories as done by Bing in a different manner as it shows results in the left explorer pane. It is more similar to Wolfram Alpha that provides detailed information based on a single keyword search.

As it is an innovative step from Google, though it provides structure to the web search and is good representation to the contained database, which would keep on improving with span of time. For example if you type in squared search box, term planets the result would appear as in grid along with planet names, images, a short description, the equatorial surface, and the mean density. As you would see only seven planets, the rest would be added using “add” box under the planet names and would suggest missing ones. Or further personal category can be added into it. Further additional columns can be added with “Date of Discovery” and “Escape velocity”, etc.
