Downloading embedded flash files on popular Browsers

Most of the graphic representation online nowadays is left with flash and its impact is seen every where in animations, music, games, advertisements and streaming presentations. As for the use of utility most of the online flash is provided in interactive Flash embedded pages known as SWF (Small Web Format) that can be easily  downloaded through widely popular browsers.

Following are the known methods to download SWF through popular browser:

Downloading SWF files using Firefox

On firefox, first of all browse the page which seems like containing embedded SWF Flash file, and then right click to select Page Info context menu option or go to Tools- Page Info.  There Select the Media Tab listing image formats, icons, style sheets and flash files as contained by the webpage. Choose there Media Tab and look for the file for SWF extension there highlight the file and click Save as to save the file on your hard drive.


Downloading SWF files using Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer 8, it is the access to the Temporary Internet Files through path C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files let save SWF file on hard disk.

In order to get SWF following steps should be followed:

1. Clicking on Tools – Internet Options on IE Menu Bar.

2. Under General tab, click on Settings under Browsing History.

3. There Temporary Internet Files and Browsing History box will open up

4. There Clicking on View Files let you come across rendered webpage elements in Temporary Internet Files Folder.

5. There select out the SWF file after arranging from view and then copy and paste it to your desired folder.

After downloading the file you can view it through Flash Player.
