Tweetbucks has made it easier to monetize on Twitter
Among thousand of methods under talk and process to monetize Twitter, Tweetbucks, a new company started by Chris Sukornyk offering service to make money utilizing Twitter, Facebook and FriendFeed by method of leveraging affiliates fees and CPCs from ads.
Tweetbucks has a database of thousand online merchants which offer referral fee for their product and services including Amazon, BestBuy, Barnes & Noble and Shoes.com. You just need to find a product on a retail site and enter that link to Tweetbuck’s site and that link will get shorten into a affiliate enabled link by Bit.ly matching it with any of thousand merchant sites in Tweetbuck’s site. Then that link gets added to Tweet, Facebook status and FriendFeed message.
When that link get clicked and converted into sales then you get commission on that sale from respective merchant that link belongs too. However, whatever the commission is paid to you by online merchant, its 30% will be charged by Tweetbucks
By Tweetbucks you can also earn from a non-retail site by ‘custom ad-frame’ on a site you Tweet the link to. Tweetbucks display an ad at the top of your destination page where you can earn a variable rate (CPC) on every click. Even that adframe can be converted into hyper linked logo of your preference. Here return would not be as faster buck as possible in the affiliate’s fees. According to Chris one would be going to earn around $1 to $2 per thousand clicks. Anyway, this is a welcome step to have a rational income on Twitter.
