There was quite a furor and discussion on what Twitter would be going to do next after announcing a TV production. Twitter was amidst all sorts of assumptions about the activities to be involved with the TV show, however, later on Twitter co-founder Biz Stone denied all those rumors in air associated with Twitter TV Show. He said there is not much into this, as it is spoken around; we have simply got into an agreement with a production house to develop a show around a service. He told that twitter is merely lending its name and likeness to show as it earlier done with like Current and CNN.
Moreover, from the statement of Stone it appears to be an extensive exercise by Twitter to launch it on a bigger platform and utilize power of Twitter as spring board to promote other programs, but on profit sharing basis.
