Visa is coming up with fraud proof card
To check online credit card frauds, Visa is coming up with idea of a card having a screen, where, every time during shopping online, a customer would have to enter their pin number into the card and for generating a code from the card which would be further entered into the website to cross checked by bank server to validate authenticity of the credit card.
Visa expects this to be a great tool to fight online fraud and pinning lots of hope over it. As this latest chip and pin technology have decreased over-the-counter fraud, however, Card Not Present or CNP fraud still exits. According to Visa this card would be available by high street banks by the end of this year. According to Alzetta, head of innovation at Visa, “ I see this as a very consumer focused product and any Visa bank could add it to their commercial cards and make it available, assuming it passes muster,”
The card is also facilitated by feature, where a user can access to corporate computer networks as tested by Deloitte employees.
